From Nursing to Legal Nurse – A Great Career Shift

Because of the plethora of certifying organizations and schools, the value of certification really has more to do with getting a foot in the law office door than anything else.  Attorneys appreciate the credential, but it is the quality of the testimony the matters.  That is why schools and “associations” that provide certification with no requirement of experience in the field have drawn some skepticism to the entire process.  But the profession is simply undergoing growing pains and it is a great career shift for an RN who is interested in a change.
