Business and management coaching is a consulting function that has become a widespread and accepted practice at the corporate level.  Many firms seeking to implement more efficient operations practices will contract for a coaching training program that is designed to teach middle management and operations staff how to function at a more efficient level.  There area several functions included in the business consulting and coaching area.   Those include group and business unit coaching, as well as individual coaching for key executives, and coaching and mentoring.  In many cases, the coaching function is included in the more common job description of management analyst.
