With President Bush calling on Congress to extend G.I. Bill benefits to Davenport, IA, Jan. 29, 2008Kaplan University today announced the launch of a 10 percent tuition discount for military spouses, on the same day that President Bush called for Congress to allow service members to transfer unused G.I. Bill education benefits to their spouses and children. Kaplan, a leading provider of online higher education, offers more than 100 academic programs that can be completed from anywhere in the world. KAPLAN UNIVERSITY LAUNCHES NEW MASTER'S DEGREE IN LEGAL STUDIES, ALONG WITH MBA AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE OFFERINGS Davenport, IA, Jan. 31, 2008Kaplan University, a leading provider of online higher education, today announced the launch of the Master of Science in Legal Studies (MSLS) degree, an MBA emphasis area in Supply Chain Management and Logistics, and a certificate in Management and Supervision in Criminal Justice, disciplines that are experiencing increasing demand in the job market. In addition to the 52 quarter credits required for the Kaplan MBA degree, this specialization includes 16 quarter credits or four additional coursesSupply Chain Management, Inventory and Distribution Management, Managing the Service Value Chain, and Strategic Global Logistics Management. The online Management and Supervision in Criminal Justice certificate program is designed to meet the increasing demand for qualified criminal justice managers. Students in the certificate program will study supervisory practices in criminal justice, management theory, best practices in human resources and organizational behavior.
