Project Managers, Project Management Courses, Project Management Certification

Project Management is a carefully planned and organized effort to accomplish a specific one-time effort, such as Constructing a Building, designing a new Computer System or building a new Computer Application.  A Civil Engineer, a Systems Designer or a Software Developer could be a Project Manager.

Project Management includes developing a Project Plan, which includes defining project goals and objectives, Specifying Tasks or how goals will be achieved and establishing Budgets and Timelines for completion. It also includes implementing the project plan with careful controls to stay on the Critical Path, that is, to ensure the plan is being managed according to plan. Project Management is the implementation phase that follows conceptualization, feasibility analysis, budget pro forma and market analysis.
